miniaudio

A small platform of audio tools, each one made to do exactly one thing well. No complex menus, no extra features — only what you need.

Role

Design and development of the platform and of every tool on it.

Platform

mTimeline

A lightweight, multi-track audio timeline editor and mini-DAW: a compact workspace for quick assembly, clip editing, live recording and mixdown.

  • Drag WAV and OGG files onto the timeline — new tracks appear instantly, and clips move freely between them
  • Trim clips from either edge, with fade-in and fade-out curves: linear, logarithmic or exponential
  • Arm any track and record live, straight to WAV
  • Draw a loop region, then export the full timeline or just that region as a stereo mixdown
  • Reaper-style mouse navigation, a zoom bar that doubles as a minimap, dark and light themes

mLoudness

Batch normalisation for a whole sound library, using industry-standard loudness measurement (EBU R128). Built to do one thing quietly and well.

  • Auto, Integrated (LUFS), Short-term, Momentary, RMS and Peak modes
  • Whole folders at once: WAV, FLAC, MP3, OGG, M4A, AAC, AIFF, WMA
  • Route different sounds to different targets by filename prefix, such as sfx_ and mus_
  • Presets for indie games, podcasts, YouTube and audiobooks
  • Non-destructive: originals are never touched, and output lands in a normalized/ folder

mRenamer

Format a sound library with the Universal Category System (UCS) v8.2, instead of doing the naming by hand.

  • The complete v8.2 category index, built in
  • Batch rename WAV, FLAC, OGG, MP3, AIF and AIFF files
  • Preview every resulting name before committing
  • The standard UCS fields: CatID, FXName, CreatorID, SourceID
  • Remembers your creator and source IDs for next time
